EMILY LEUTGEB Montessori School Director / After Care Guide
Emily has worked in Montessori classrooms since 2008 – first as an assistant, then as a Lead Teacher after she got her Early Child Montessori Credential from St. Catherine University in 2010. She has taught in a one-room school, a school serving toddlers through Grade 6, and a school serving infants through age six. After finishing her Master’s in Education at St. Kate’s, she is thrilled to work alongside the Heartwood community as School Director. Whenever they can fit it in, Emily and her husband Dan enjoy bicycling, camping, hiking traveling, and seeking delicious eats to fuel their adventures.

AMY TWEET Assistant Guide
Amy graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in Environmental Education in 2015. She has a great love for connecting children with the natural world and Heartwood helps her do just that. Through many years of teaching and adventuring experience with children of all ages, Amy brings her love of nature, adventure, and exploration to our classroom. In her own time, Amy teaches yoga, bikes all over the city, knits fuzzy things, and relaxes with her cat, PJ.
